THE CHALLENGE:
Optimizing the airflow in a data center. This optimization project had to be realized in a live environment where downtime is not an option. All this to be carried out in Munich, Germany.
OUR SOLUTION:
By using free standing sliding door portals and transparant roof panels in order to create no less than 8 cold corridors, an ideal air- and environment management has been created. Separating the cold and hot air flows is not exactly new, but by combining the self-supporting design and adjustable panels, racks can be added or swapped at a later stage without any problems.
The RESULT:
A project of which we as DC Connect are very proud of. Through thorough work preparation and accurate installation planning, our datacenter field engineers executed this project in 2 weeks. Within time, within budget with the most important result: a satisfied customer.
